President Reviewed the Progress of the ENCO Group Project

On February 13, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a visit to the Akhangaran district of the Tashkent region, reviewed the progress of the construction of the ENCO Group enterprise.

In Uzbekistan, large‑scale efforts are underway to intensively modernize the energy sector, construct new power plants and substations, upgrade main transmission networks, and widely introduce renewable energy sources.

The growing demand for electricity—driven by the expansion of economic sectors and population growth—necessitates the development of high‑voltage power transmission lines. As a result, there is sustained demand for high‑voltage cables on both domestic and international markets.

The ENCO Group enterprise, aimed at meeting this demand, is being constructed on an area of 21 hectares within the Eltech Industrial technopark.
